Minimum requirements for training

  • Gauntlets - steel plated any period - cricket gloves accepted for beginners
  • Helmet - any period
  • Safety boots - pref steel cap

    • Minimum requirements for display combat

  • Period costume - as accurate as possible for the individual.
  • Steel cap boots preferably matching the period of your costume where possible.
  • Gauntlets of the correct period.
  • Helmet of the correct period.
  • Armour (if applicable) needs to be of the correct period.

    • Personal safety additions

  • Glasses
  • Inhalers
  • Health aid requirements - prosthetics - bionics etc
  • anything that is comfortable and well hidden protection
